Due to phenomenal success of Lifebridge’s inclusion in last year’s Cooly Rocks On Street Parade, we are once again preparing to participate this year.
Cooly Rocks On is Australia’s largest 50’s and 60’s nostalgia festival, which brings rock ‘n’roll, custom cars and old-fashioned glamour to the streets of Coolangatta. The buzzing atmosphere, music and fun stretches for over 2 kilometres with tens of thousands of onlookers lining the street to watch the parade, which kicks off from 9.30am on Saturday, 10th June 2017.
Lifebridge’s very own “Us the Band”, a crowd favourite last year, are set to rock the socks off the crowd again. Charismatic front man, Nathan Johnson, will be at the helm and the Music and Dance Group, dressed in this year’s Blue Hawaii theme, will be dancing alongside them. The props and decorations for our float are being lovingly created by our Art Group which has seen many hours spent preparing for this iconic event.
Our participation in the Cooly Rocks On street parade is a perfect example of the commitment, dedication and hard work of our staff, volunteers and customers, who work so well together to make things happen.
