Explore our range of Health and Wellbeing programs tailored to meet your needs. Good health and wellbeing is vital and these programs are designed for you to have fun and enjoying a fresh positive outlook on life.

Hip Ideas

H.I.P Ideas is a program that is designed around your needs and the needs of your peers. In H.I.P Idea’s you are the centre of the program. You are encouraged to learn by doing and to leverage the support of your peers. Onsite staff will support you but are there in a supervisory role.

H.I.P Ideas is a program that is designed around your needs and the needs of your peers. In H.I.P Idea’s you are the centre of the program. You are encouraged to learn by doing and to leverage the support of your peers. Onsite staff will support you but are there in a supervisory role. You and your peers will lead the program. H.I.P Ideas is designed to increase your independence. To develop communication skills and for you to learn how to interact with your peers.You will also learn how to:

  • share in new experiences
  • negotiate
  • compromise
  • form friendships
  • plan
  • persuade

All within a safe and supportive environment.

Day: Monday & Thursday
Time: 9am – 3pm
Venue: Murwillumbah Community Centre

All Sorts Of Sports

Get moving and keep active. All Sorts of Sports is a program designed to get you having fun through a range of recreational activities and improve your overall well-being. The All Sorts of Sports program will help you build confidence, fitness and motivation. Participate in a range of sports and meet new people at the same time.

Get moving and keep active. All Sorts of Sports is a program designed to get you having fun through a range of recreational activities and improve your overall well-being.

The All Sorts of Sports program will help you build confidence, fitness and motivation. Participate in a range of sports and meet new people at the same time. Push your comfort zones and try new activities and have a laugh at the same time.

All Sorts of Sports is a friendly program to get you participating. All Sorts of Sports will help you develop your control, coordination, fitness and strength. Participants are encouraged to make suggestions for activities they want to participate in and are encouraged to try new activities.

Some of the sports the group participates in are: lawn bowls, table tennis, fishing,, swimming and golf just to name a few.

All abilities levels are encouraged to attend.

Day: Monday, Wednesday & Thursday
Time: 9am – 3pm

Venue: Local community venues (PCYC, Seagulls, Local swimming pools and recreational parks)

Sensory Awakening

Awaken your senses by being introduced to activities to physically stimulate your body and maintain well-being. The indulgence provided in this group will leave you feeling relaxed, positive and mindful. Pamper yourself by choosing from activities including massage, aromatherapy, visual displays or beauty therapies.

Let’s Cook

The Let’s Cook program is a holistic and hands-on program designed to help you prepare meals, learn kitchen safety and help you understand basic food nutrition. Throughout the program you will learn how to prepare simple lunches, delicious snacks and meals you can share.

The Let’s Cook program is a holistic and hands-on program designed to help you prepare meals, learn kitchen safety and help you understand basic food nutrition.

Throughout the program you will learn how to prepare simple lunches, delicious snacks and meals you can share. You will also learn some tips on how to keep thinking of fresh meal ideas, kitchen safety, hygiene and how to use a range of modern appliances.

Learn how to budget your meals accordingly and increase your shopping skills. Develop healthy eating habits and understand the nutritional elements of food.

Healthy Body – Healthy Mind

Be empowered to learn new skills and increase your physical and mental wellbeing. The Healthy Body - Healthy Mind program is a unique Lifebridge initiative designed to increase your self-esteem. The program supports to and encourages you to engage in healthy relationships and ensures you understand what this means and how it can affect you.

The Healthy Body – Healthy Mind program is a unique Lifebridge initiative designed to increase your self-esteem. The program supports to and encourages you to engage in healthy relationships and ensures you understand what this means and how it can affect you. It promotes individuality and self-respect and teaches you the benefits of personal presentation.

Through Healthy Body – Healthy Mind you have the opportunity to participate in some varied physical activities and the chance to maintain or improve on your fitness levels as well as the opportunity to be outdoors and engaged with multiple community venues.
